Bridging economic systems and machine learning to explore uncovered frontiers

I aim to build bridges between the lessons of the past and the uncovered possibilities of the future.

Born in Switzerland and raised in the Alps and Berlin, I am grateful that I have been able to journey through various different places from living in Costa Rica to my current home in San Francisco. Through this journey, I have found my mission: understanding the patterns of what has been and bridging that to the curiosity of the unknown future.

The Past Patterns

I love exploring the history, economics, and cultures that define us, from the Inca and the Venetians to the timeless frameworks of Stoicism, Taoism, and the Bible. My fascination lies in the systems, incentives, and human behaviors underneath it all.

The Present Transition

My economics passion led me to Wells Fargo. However, I soon discovered that I wanted to bridge past data as a guidepost to the unknown horizon of predictive decision-making. This realization brought me to the Master of Analytics at UC Berkeley, where I aim to turn historical insight into forward-thinking impact.

The Unseen Horizon

I believe that true growth and opportunity lie inherently where others, and I myself, have not yet looked. I am convinced that these goals are achievable if we are brave and have faith.

Off The Grid

When I’m not deep in a model or a book, you’ll find me hiking through a forest or capturing a sunset through my camera. It is a constant reminder that both truth and beauty reveal themselves only to those who pay attention to the fleeting moments life bestows upon us.
